Nanoscience Film Festival

Final call for submissions

                Submission deadline for films was September 30, 2008*
                    Late submissions being accepted. Space is limited.

        

The Molecular Foundry Users Committee is inviting submissions for NanoFest, the Nanoscience Film Festival to be held during this year’s User Meeting on November 10, 2008.

All Molecular Foundry and NCEM users and staff are encouraged to submit short, entertaining films about nanoscience to the festival.

       

SUBMITTING YOUR FILM

  • Mail your content to us on a data CD or a data DVD to:

    Berkeley, CA 94720 Or email to : NanoFest@lbl.gov
  • Please complete our short submission form for each entry and submit with your film.
  • Your film isn’t ready yet? Please assist us with planning for this event by emailing a
         submission form to NanoFest@lbl.gov
  • Final submission deadline midnight, September 30, 2008.

           

    GUIDELINES

  • Submit standard format films with titling and soundtracks with sufficient quality to be
        viewed (and heard) in a large screen venue.
  • Suggested run time up to 5 minutes.
  • Films will be peer reviewed to determine the final list to be included in this year's festival.
  • Don’t have sound or your film runs over 5 minutes? Send us your film anyway, these are just
         guidelines and we’re interested in seeing everything.
  • Be creative, and, most of all, have fun!
