Vendor Invitation

Dear Exhibitor,

This year the Molecular Foundry is joining with the National Center for Electron Microscopy (NCEM) for our annual Users’ Meeting to be held on November 10-11 at Lawrence Berkeley Lab. As an affiliate of the Molecular Foundry, NCEM and/or communications with me or members of our technical staff, we would like to extend a special invitation to you to participate as a vendor exhibitor this year.

Please see the appended announcement to the meeting which was sent out earlier this month to our extensive user community. It describes the planned combined event between the Molecular Foundry and NCEM user facilities. This meeting will consist of plenary sessions, workshops, and a jointly-sponsored poster session the afternoon of November 10th; with all attendees gathering at the Molecular Foundry. The expected attendance this year is 200-250 split between the Foundry and the National Center for Electron Microscopy.

The vendor exhibits will be open throughout the day with time during breaks and lunches for viewing by the attendees.

Tier 1 vendor exhibitors will receive all the same benefits as the Tier 2 vendors, plus:

* The opportunity to place (soft backed) advertising poster of your product line in either the main entryway of the

auditorium, or in the workshop room of your choice.

* Placement of advertising brochures or flyers on the main table at the entrance of the auditorium.

* Choice of available table display area. (1st come (paid), 1st served)

Tier 2 vendors receive all of the following:

* Advertising access to all attendees – during breaks, meals, and

jointly-sponsored poster session

* An 8’ booth area having a 6’ table and seating for two

* Electrical power

* Internet access via our on-site wireless LAN

* Registration for up to two persons to all the User Meeting sessions

* All meals and snacks, for up to two persons, during the two-day meeting

* A copy of the Molecular Foundry attendee list

The fee per participating vendor exhibit for Tier 1 is $1500.00,
with Tier 2 at $1000.00.

Other details of the planned program are also available there. The deadline for vendor registration is October 15th. Please indicate whether one or two persons from your company plan to attend as exhibitors.
