Foundry Scientist Presented Next Big Tech Idea at ‘Science at the Theater’ Event

Like a science version of the popular show “Shark Tank,” the Lab’s next Science at the Theater event featured researchers “pitching” their technologies, followed by audience members and a panel of judges determining which one most benefits society. The event took place at the Berkeley Repertory Theater. In addition to Gloria Oliver's introduction of Molecular Velcro (the winner of the judge vote), researchers and their technologies include: Guoying Chen (Making Better Batteries), Sylvain Costes (Tracking and Hacking Personal DNA Damage), Steven Lanzisera (Making Energy Measurement Stick), and Alex Zettl (Dress Code for Martians).
