Phase Transition in Cesium Lead Iodide Nanowires
Systematic study of the phase transition of one-dimensional CsPbI3 nanowires and corresponding structural, optical and electrical properties.
Significance and Impact
This study unveils important fundamental properties of the structural phase transition in CsPbI3 nanowires and enable promising nanoscale optoelectronic devices.
- Non-perovskite Y-CsPbI3 nanowires are synthesized by low temperature solution process.
- Perovskite B-CsPbI3 nanowires are obtained through a rapid thermal quenching.
- Post-transformed B-CsPbI3 nanowires exhibit prior optoelectronic properties, including increased photoluminescence emission, a shrinking of bandgap and excellent photoconductivity.
