Private sector Users have special needs. Privacy, Security and agility are key to successful implementation of development and R&D initiatives. For private sector Users, the Molecular Foundry provides, on a cost-recovery basis, access to the Foundry’ six Facilities, their equipment and the expertise of their distinguished staffs.

The Foundry seeks to satisfy the needs of its corporate Users. For instance, some organizations have placed researchers in-house for extended periods. In reviewing corporate User proposals, the Foundry first considers whether it has the capabilities to completely satisfy User needs, and then, with the User, develops the best methods for gaining the desired result.

Proprietary User information can be withheld from dissemination or publication at the User’s discretion. Corporate Users are subject to the same EH&S requirement Code of Conduct rules as other Users.
