The Molecular Foundry is a dual use building, supporting research by both Division scientists and approved investigators (users) from around the world. Implementation of the EH&S program in the Molecular Foundry is much the same as in other Materials Science Division facilities. Work is authorized by Foundry "lead scientists." Each user proposal must be reviewed and approved by the Division Facility/EH&S Manager prior to the start of lab work. Members of the Divison Safety Committee from the Foundry form the Molecular Foundry Safety Subcommittee that meets on an ad hoc basis.
