Molecular Foundry Director and Theory Facility Senior Faculty Scientist, Jeff Neaton, was recently elected as an American Physical Society (APS) Fellow for his “fundamental contributions to the understanding of phase behavior, electronic structure, and transport properties of condensed matter, particularly multiferroics, nanostructures, and materials for energy conversion and storage.”
This honor signifies “exceptional contributions to the physics enterprise; e.g., outstanding physics research, important applications of physics, leadership in or service to physics, or significant contributions to physics education.”
