On April 24, LBNL hosted a Science Festival comprised of eight hands-on tabletop activity “stations” for 120 Lab employee sons and daughters aged 9-16. As part of this event, Molecular Foundry and Materials Sciences Division volunteers helped children build a 20 foot carbon nanotube balloon model.
