On December 11, 2014, the Molecular Foundry’s newly constituted Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) met for the first time with leadership, staff and users. This group of prominent scientists from around the country was recently created to reflect the Foundry’s merge with the National Center for Electron Microscopy and provide guidance on organizational and scientific issues.
Throughout the day’s agenda, SAB members learned about the Foundry’s structure, policies and procedures from members of the leadership team. They also heard about its scientific themes and discussed research projects with scientific and technical staff. Their day concluded with time to meet academic and industrial users to gain perspective on their experiences at the Foundry.
The Molecular Foundry’s SAB members are:
- Peter Crozier, Arizona State University
