In a recent editorial in ACS Central Science, former Foundry Director, Carolyn Bertozzi, talked about the ingredients for a positive safety culture. In the article, she encourages “academic institutions [to] learn best practices through partnerships with industrial and government laboratories” using her time at the Molecular Foundry as a model for priority setting and collaboration.
