At the end of 2019, the Molecular Foundry community voted for five new members of the User Executive Committee, and elected new officers.
The UEC was established to represent and serve all members of the Foundry’s user community, including prospective and current users. This past December, five new members were added to the committee, and new officers were elected:
Chair: Annelise Barron
Vice-Chair: Sarbajit Banerjee
Secretary 1: Brooke Kuei
Secretary 2: Cheryl Tajon
The UEC charter is to provide a channel of communication between Foundry users and leadership and to represent Foundry users when the Department of Energy solicits feedback from members of its National User Facilities.
The UEC also plays a major role in planning the Annual User Meeting each August.
