Foundry Director Kristin Persson has been chosen to receive the 2023 Cryil Stanley Smith Award. The award is given by The Minerals, Metals, and Materials Society (TMS) and “recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the science and/or technology of materials structure.”
Director Persson is receiving the award for “pioneering contributions to data production and dissemination, advancing data-driven science of materials structure and its link to properties for materials discovery and design.”
