Argon Glove Box
Staff lead: Steve Shelton
For cell assembly and testing, as well as related electroanalytical experimentation.
Biologic VMP3 Potentiostat
Staff lead: Steve Shelton
The VPM3 is a potentiostat/galvanostat with up to 16 independent channels and measures voltage up to 20V and current ranging from 10 uA up to 400 mA. It is equipped with Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) capability with measurements from 10 uHz to 1 MHz. The instrument is controlled by EC-Lab software. Cell connections can be made inside of an argon glove box, outside in air, or in an associated TestEquity 107 temperature chamber (–42 °C to 130 °C).
Princeton Applied Research VersaSTAT3-200
Staff lead: Liana Klivansky; Alternate: Steve Shelton
A potentiostat/galvanostat for liquid cyclic voltammetry measurements.
Wave Driver 100 Spectroelectrochemistry bundle
Staff lead: Steve Shelton
Measure electrochemical and spectroscopic properties of reactions taking place on an electrode surface. This spectroelectrochemistry bundle combines an AvaSpec-ULS2048-EVO UV/Vis spectrometer, a cuvette cell kit, and a potentiostat. The AvaLight UV/Vis/NIR Light source operates from 200-2500 nm. while the spectrometer makes measurements over a wavelength range of 200-1100 nm. Platinum and gold honeycomb electrodes are available.
