The Foundry’s Alex Weber-Bargioni, along with Post Doctoral researcher John Thomas from his research group, are co-organizing a Winter School for Quantum Information Science along with colleagues at UC Berkeley, LBNL, LMU, TUM and Max Planck for Quantum Optics in Munich.
The conference is to be held at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab from Jan 9th to 13th 2023. The aim is to provide an overview of various subfields related to QIS, connect graduate students and early career researchers from Munich and Berkeley working on QIS, and promote a creative scientific culture between them.
They have an excellent line-up of leading scientists from Munich and Berkeley as well as the local QIS industry who will provide overview lectures, combined with an interactive program to advance the overview for young scientists in this rapidly growing and diversifying field.
