Biography
Deirdre Olynick, PhD, MBA, is the Senior Business Manager for the Molecular Foundry. She comes to the Foundry with 7 years in business strategy and operations and with 10 years as a Foundry Staff Scientist. Her external business roles included business development, portfolio management, strategy & operations, and technical team management in AI drug discovery and synthetic biology. Most recently she was Vice President of Partnerships & Portfolio at 1859, Inc, an AI Drug Discovery company. Deirdre has a Ph.D. in material science and engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS from North Carolina State University.
