Biography:
Dr. Stephen Jesse is a Research and Development Associate at the Center for Nanophase Materials Science at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Materials Science. He was awarded the Microscopy Today Innovation Award in 2010 and in 2011. He has also won R&D 100 Awards in 2008 and 2010.
Dr. Jesse’s research is focused on using Scanning Probe Microscopy to examine ferroelectric materials and Li-ion battery materials.
